The report on the 4th transnational coordinators’ meeting concerning the project

“Through artistic abilities to developed basic skills”

The aim of the meeting

project management and implementation – summary, monitoring and evaluation of the project, its results, preparation of the final report and conclusions. Work on the guide for teachers to be published on the Internet on the EU Result Dissemination Platform as a final product of the project. Work on the final report, Mobility Tool, editing of the project website, e-Twinning website and Facebook pages, work on filling in the application form for the National and European eTwinning Labels. Getting acquainted with the culture, customs and history of this part of Croatia – Slavonia and Baranja.

The conclusions of the meeting:

All the participating teachers and students gained knowledge and extended their basic competencies through their interaction, cooperation and dedication to the project activities.

The coordinators cooperated in the preparation of the final report for each national agency and the final report of the international coordinator. Project achievements were collected, project activities were described in detail, assessment – evaluation and monitoring of the project were carried out. Equal input and excellent cooperation between partners were indicated. The impact of the project was considered and its continuation after the end of the grant was discussed, as well as the ways of disseminating information by each of the partners.

In relation to the guide for other teachers, which will be published on the Internet, all the good practices of the partner schools developed during the project activities in each school, the joint activities, workshops as well as the practices presented at the International Teachers Conference on Student Competences Development, have been gathered in one document by the ICT teacher from the Slovenian school, as a basis for the creation of the main final product.  

The organisation of learning, teaching and training activities was analysed and a summary provided of how they were assessed and evaluated, as well as the activities carried out in our schools in the second year of the project. Parents, teachers, students and local authorities were interviewed. The questionnaires filled in by the parents and pupils participating in the project, the results of which were collected to support the conclusions, were also discussed.

During the meeting, the participants discussed the Europass Language Passport, its details and the need to remind pupils to complete it.  

During their stay in Darda, the participants also got to know Croatian history and traditions, as well as cultural and natural monuments. They visited Prandau-Normann Castle in Valpovo, as well as parades of folk ensembles at the summer Folklore Festival in Valpovo. They visited Jankovac Nature Park and Kopački Rit Nature Park. They had the opportunity to get to know Vukovar better. They visited the Vučedol Cultural Museum and Ovčara the Museum dedicated to the victims of the civil war of Yugoslavia. They were in the Erdut vineyard and in the Aljmaš sanctuary, which offers a view of the confluence of the Drava River into the Danube.

An unforgettable event of the meeting was the arrival of students from the Croatian school, despite the summer holidays, to the school during our work and the exchange of experiences and thoughts of the participants of the project with its coordinators.

All the coordinators collaborated online using Google Docs, and through Skype video conference for the whole week with the Greek school coordinator, as there was no possibility for her to come for the meeting due to personal health reasons.

The final conclusion of the meeting is that the coordinators of the four participating schools have built up an excellent team of international cooperation, starting an excellent friendship for a lifetime between themselves and the other participants in the project. The team also includes other teachers involved in the project, who have also established links and bonds with each other.


The third TPM Schimatari, Greece.

The 3rd Transnational meeting, Schimatari, Greece

The report on the third transnational project meeting  in Greece for the project “Through artistic abilities to developed basic skills” project code : 2016-1-PL01-KA219-026076-4 which was held at 1st Primary School of Schimatari, Viotia, Greece from the 25.09.2017  – 27.09.2017.

The aims of the meeting were:

  • further planning for the second year of the project,
  • taking conclusions of the previous meeting in the planning of the dates of the project events in each school,
  • introducing new or other ideas,
  • specification of the international workshops, discussing the details of activities in the second year of our project,
  • plans for evaluation,
  • further management budget planning,
  • work on the teacher’s guide,
  • discussing the details and activities of the Slovenian and Polish workshops.

The conclusions of the meeting:  

  • We set the dates for each activity we had already planned for the clubs during the second school year so that the school schedule wouldn’t be interrupted by to many activities at a short period of time. The arrangements for the second Reading Night were made.
  • We discussed in detail the activities and timetable of the Slovenian and Polish workshops – learning / teaching / training activities and decided that we would also include folklore dance performance from each school engaging a Folk Adult dance “Terpsichori”  group from Greece for the final event in Poland. We made a list of all the materials which are needed for both the workshops. Employing the instructors for the workshops was also discussed
  • Specific dates for the evaluation and the Croatian TPM were set. The form, the aims, content and way of presentation of the teacher’s guide was discussed. The good practices for the guide were chosen. We learned how to use different online Apps to help us create lesson plans: Learning Designer, Word Templates, etc.
  • An application for e-Twinning national and European Label will be filled in during the 4th TPM in Croatia.
  • Last year’s budget was evaluated and ways of spending the money in accordance to the project’s aims were discussed and compared.
  • The ways of assessment students’ achievements and the ways the governments in each country deal with the problem of course and school subjects books were compared and shared.
  • We took a one day trip to Delphi and the traditional village of Arachova along with the pupils and teachers participating in the project in order to be educated about the Greek culture, tradition and food. We also visited the local Archeological Museum in Schimatari to get to know the Tanagra’s Region heritage.

2nd TPM in Slovenia

The 2nd transnational project  meeting of coordinators took place in Kamnik, Slovenia,  within the framework of the approved Erasmus + European program “Through artistic abilities to develop basic skills”  from 28 to 30 June 2017. The coordinators from Poland, Greece, Croatia and Slovenia met and key issues as well as  its evaluation tools on the course of the program so far were discussed and resolved.

During their stay to Kamnik, the three coordinators from Poland, Croatia and Greece had the opportunity to get acquainted with elements of  the Slovenian culture, tasting traditional recipes, participating in traditional games and visiting museums and workshops where traditional Slovenian products were produced.
